What’s in my mailbox today?

December 10, 2010

Crud.

Crud is in my mailbox.

The Arbor Day Foundation wants money. So they can plant trees.

The National Wildlife Foundation wants money. They will send me a Polar Bear Fleece Blanket (on envelope), or a Snuggie (on response card). They really don’t know what they will send me, because just last week, they offered me a water bottle with a wolf on it.

My car insurance sent me several indecipherable forms with lots of numbers on them. No money due, or it would say so loud and clear.

As they say:  “If you want to get good mail, you’ve gotta send good mail.”

Tonight, I’m staying late, late LATE at work, because we have no heat at home. I’ll do some work, make some cards, and get some Good Mail on the way to the world.

What goes around, comes around. That’s certainly true with correspondence.
