I ask for your help

June 12, 2011

A wonderful teacher, Lobsang Phuntsok, has been unable to return to the United States to continue his teaching in Massachusetts. He is a Tibetan Buddhist monk, who teaches ways to fill our world with love and compassion. Things I learned from him have helped me in my business, helped me weather health challenges, and also, helped me practice behaving nicely even to mean people.

The visa problem seems to be some kind of mix-up about date of birth. In India, birth dates aren’t recorded with quite the same precision that we take for granted; and US immigration isn’t too happy with that ambiguity.

Please visit this link and sign the petition requesting that Lobsang Phuntsok be permitted to return to America to teach. To learn more about Lobsang’s work here and in India, please visit Jhamtse International.

Thank you.

I’ve signed the petition. We need more teachers of compassion here.
